The soul became the sum of the relationships into which the human body in the world entered. Previously, the body was the prison of the soul; now the soul became the clothing of the body, its social, political, and aesthetic appearance. Suddenly the only possible manifestation of the soul became the look of the clothes in which human beings appear, the everyday things with which they surround themselves, the spaces they inhabit. 網膜的な表情ではなく手ざわりを通じて未知の感情に触れてしまったことが、今回のコレクションの発端にあたります。それを起点にわたしたちは文字通り手探りでリサーチを進めていきました。表情に欠いた見えないものへの不安と予感そして暗示が画面に充填されたホラー映画というジャンルを参照枠とすることで、視覚に導かれた理性的なものではない触覚的な感情をなんとか捉えようと努めています。
1/17(fri)より20SSコレクションが DIGAWEL 1 にて立ち上がります。

2019年8月１日(木曜)よりわたしたちの店舗の営業時間が変わります。
We’d like to inform you of our shopping hours change from August 1st, 2019.
DIGAWELをはじめて今年で13年になります。わたしたちがいるこの場所やそれを巡る状況もこの13年間で大きく変化しました。
2009年に始まったDIGAWEL２の店舗機能は7/15をもって終了しました。
この場所は引き続き、ショウルーム／オフィスとして機能させていくことになります。
そして、DIGAWEL２の店舗機能は2019年7/25 PM12:00よりオンラインで展開していくことにしました。13年前ならば考えることさえできなかった、この新しい店舗にわたしたちはとても興奮しています。DIGAWELに関わるすべての人たちとこの興奮を頒けあい、ともに楽しめるONLINE STOREになれば良いなと考えています。
Goodbye, Hello.
It’s been 13 years this year since DIGAWEL started. The place we are in and the circumstances surrounding it have also changed significantly over the past 13 years.
DIGAWEL 2, which began in 2009, ended on July 15. This place will continue to function as a showroom / office.
And DIGAWEL2’s store function will be developed online from July 25 2019. We are very excited about this new store, which we couldn’t even think about 13 years ago. We hope that we can share this excitement with everyone involved in DIGAWEL and hope that it can become an ONLINE STORE that we can enjoy together.
DIGAWEL 2019AW COLLECTION
External Drive
2019AWシーズンからスタートしたデザイナーのコレクション制作をサポートするJFWO(日本ファッション・ウィーク推進機構)と島精機製作所が進める取り組みに則ってつくられたホールガーメントニットウエア。
Leeとの初のコラボレーションアイテムは、デニムジャケット・チャップスパンツ・サービスコート・オーバーオール・ウエスタンシャツの5型。Leeにはないビックシルエットのゆったりとした身幅が特徴で、1950年~1960年代の型をベースに現代的なワークスタイルを追求。
ほぼ毎シーズン続けている吉田カバンとのコラボレーションでも現代的なワークスタイルとしてワークベルトをモチーフにしたバッグをつくりました。その一方でジェネリックなオフィスでのワークスタイルをフィジカルのラストリゾートとして捉えたofficewareレーベルでも協働してバッグやポーチを製作しています。
こうしたいわゆるコラボレーションだけにとどまらず今回のコレクションではさまざまなレイヤーにおいてわたしたちは”外部”をノンシャランに取り込んでいきました。そのさまがまるでghetto engineeringで危なっかしい接続がなされたexternal driveのように思えたのです。
2019年秋冬コレクションのタイトルはこのイメージから採られています。
7/20(sat)より19AWコレクションが DIGAWEL 1 にて立ち上がります。

DIGAWEL 2019SS COLLECTION
a study of the mass
We have studied about the mass for this collection by experimenting various forms.New refined silhouette was added to the trousers and overall volume and balance were adjusted.
Moreover, compared to the past collections, less print appears so that the textures of the fabrics can be a part of a delicate color palette of this season.
今回のコレクションはさまざまなフォルムの中で方向性を探りながらマッスについてスタディを重ねました。とくにボトムスは新たにリファインされたシルエットが加わり全体のボリュームとバランスに変化が導入されました。
またこれまでのコレクションよりプリントなどを大幅に抑えて、表面の肌理までも色彩の一部とするような繊細なカラーパレットのシーズンになっています。

suppose design office 社食堂にて
「ディガウェルによるオフィスウエア」を開催します。
生活する空間の大部分がネット空間へ移植された後に残されたスペース。 そこでは全てのものが絶えず再定義され続けるので決して安定することがない。 まだ生活= “ライフ” スタイルを形作るものは残されているのだろうか。 そしてどのようなワーク “ライフ” バランスが可能なのか。 曖昧なままに流通している “ライフ” とワークがあやうい同居を続ける このスペースを仮にオフィスと呼ぶことにしよう。
「ディガウェルによるオフィスウエア」はコラボレーションを通して このスペースをくまなく探査しようという試みです。
このポップアップイベントではオフィスをテーマとしてDIGAWELがウェアや雑貨、 そして吉田カバンと協働してバッグ・ポーチなどを製作しました。 ほかにはSCOSからレアなステーショナリーが、 またTOXGOからはテーマに則ったセレクションの古着などが届きます。
そのパブリックとの関係がオフィスウエアの大きなインスピレーションとなった 社食堂を持つサポーズデザインオフィスは、イベント空間構成を担当しています。

A 3 day event ‘officeware powered by DIGAWEL’ will be held from 23 November in Sha-shokudo, Suppose design office.
In space left after most of the living space has been moved into the Internet, nothing will be stable as everything continues to be redefined constantly. Is there anything still forming a life style? And what kind of work-life balance is possible? Let’s call this space where life that is circulated ambiguously and work keep sharing an ‘office’.
‘officeware powered by DIGAWEL’ attempts to explore this space through collaboration.
In this popup event, DIGAWEL produced clothing and goods, and collaborated with Yoshida & Co.,Ltd to produce bags and pouches with the theme of office. Moreover, rare stationery from SCOS and selected vintage clothing from TOXGO will be delivered.
Suppose design office, which also runs Sha-shokudo that is a public eatery inspired by the office cafeteria and become a big inspiration for officeware, is in charge of space design of the event.
